Community Grading Rubric
Personal Learning Plan - Students must submit an eportfolio (My Work - top of website page) and will be assessed on their ability to complete a personal learning plan developed during the course. This portfolio will include reflective blog posts as well as upkeep of the (My Planning Page - top of website page) with relevant acquired literacies.
Planning Page construction - 10%
Daily Reflections - 20%
The Crying Game: When tech cuts do we not bleed?
I started out the gate and fell. I was off the horse in a hurry. I showed up feeling pretty positive. With the Day 1 down, I had blogged for the first time, commented on blogs for the first time, and started a delicious account. Awesome! More!
Day Two - The Rubrics
Today felt a bit more focused and not as scattered. Maybe that was because we were in one location instead of three. I may have finally come to grips with what I want to to with my presentation. I haven't however come to grips with how it will be graded, or rubriced if you will. Although what we came up with as a class has clearly defined guidelines, I think we need some wiggle room for assessment of individuals growth within the course. Does this make sense..?
