Experimenting with surveymonkey.com and edhelper.com .My copy and paste technique is a big concern for me ?rich text or plain text part of the problem.

 Since my time with the student is one on one I would use the quiz as an opportunity to ask question about prior reading and writing experiences,personal work needs,family interaction i.e(read bedtime stories)I use various sources for language and vacabulary enrichment especially their trade books and associated material such as interest stories /dogs,hobbies,sports etc.With the wordsearch I get to incorporate scanning.reading ,vocabulary ,and some fun for what is often a stressful activity(reading with someone watching and listening as we read the words to search for out loud first)

 New input since presentation:My motto is pick a day early on ex Mon.I put too much pressure on my self choosing a topic. I still had't fully appreciated the method of jumping in and fine tuning later.Since class began I know so much more.I shared something new to me surveymonkey ;and keeping in mind reading the page and trying different buttons and methods feel I showed how to manouevre around the site,in a useful way with the help section and trying a sample quiz with a sample of question and answer templates.The professional version sure would be easier to get an acceptable product faster.Also with edhelper .com it has so much to offer For the basics I hope the class will remember it as well to help those who are struggling with basic stuff no matter how old they are.Be aware of kids and adults "just not getting it","getting lost "while trying to read.I feel a message of confidentiality and help will help stem the tide of family illiteracy.

Some items of my new literacy like powerpoint ,I even tried for this presentation but I wanted a prettier product.

So noone will see it but my next student will !!!
