Day 2 - Community Learning
The first goal of day 2 is to reinforce and regularlize the work from day 1. With so many new concepts introduced, nice simple examples and step by step processes can be a welcomed reprieve from the onslaught of so many new technologies. We will build a step by step process for each of the tools and methods that we reviewed in day one and post them in our book for record keeping purposes and also to ensure that everyone has gotten sufficient time to familiarize themselves with the content.
Learning to use educational technologies in a vacuum, that is, without the value of a filtering community is very difficult. What most successful educational technologists are doing is finding communities of educators with like interests, and learning from them. Choose groups for formal educational project.
