Another day of projects.

Again another mind saturating afternoon, in a good way though.

WOW we had some great presenters today. the excel one Carl did was great as I used excel foe some grading last year but now I can use graphs as well. I would like to use that part for my basketball teams stats also. The wiki presentation was excellent but i would have loved to know this info 4 months ago as I am on the committee for my high school 25th reunion and we are emailing each other to death. I would love to try this also for a supper group I am involved in where 5 couples rotate where we have supper each month with everyone taking their turn hosting.

I got to do my  presentation today and was very nervous. Worked on it over the weekend and felt fairly confident but I never like the presentation part. Seemed to go well the comments are positive so as usual the worrying was for nothing. Just need to get up and give out the information. I did find out last fall from a friend that practicing at home (several times) even if you look stupid ,works.

Friday.......its here.  I made it through.

Day 4 ... almost half way. Back to group work on the manual again which really cleaned things up. It is nice to create these things but there is a definite responsibility to keep it up and in a useable condition. Nice to have the rest of the day to work on our projects . I could not decide between Moodle or web sites and i think I will go with Moodle. I got to click around for an hour and figure my way through it. I maid some goo progress but will have to work on it over the wekend to be a little more assured.

Sooooo...... today we started with a review , which is always a plus. Nice just to touch briefly on the day before especially for us older folks. Next we went on to a little more of developing of the test book. Our group found it more difficult than we thought as we were not sure of the language to use in defining our section. I am enjoying the group work as we have some great ideas popping up and everyone is very willing to listen to others.

Another day of fast and furious learning. The review was a good idea as it gave us a refresher on what we covered yesterday. We worked on the traing  manuals as a group . This was very educational and showed how if you write it down when you create something it is there for you and all others top use FOR EVER.......... It is nice there was no pressure to get it right the first time and the entire site appears to be a work in progress. next we discussed blogging which i still can't get my head around it's popularity but that may change by the end of the course.
