Another rich day of exchanges and learning from one another. One would think we would have maxed out by now but no we are still able to absorb more. I was excited today and pleased to see people bring their projects in with such passion. One witnesses the progress and our way of thinking elevate everyday.
Day 8 Wednesday
I think today was a great day. As we move forward we become more interested and we have learned to filter faster in some areas and of course miss a few points on others. It is good to have a scribe keep notes so we can reflect more at quieter times. I will need some time out after this rush, to go back, reflect, explore and interact more at quieter times.
Day 7-Tuesday
Tuesday:
Wow, what a great experience today was in having such great demonstrations that have multiple uses in our varying environments.
Excel by Carl can be used in multiple ways in some of my organizational work charts and of course trying to organize and store data. it even will be a fun way to keep track of budgets, expenditures costs etc.
Day 6- more value added information
Today was a great learning day with lots of new experiences.
We had the opportunity to freely dialog with other learning minds through Ustream within the vast community of learning. We bounced out new words - web casting, streaming a conversation/slide casting, chat rooms etc. while distinguishing between platforms and applications. I also welcomed the introduction to new websites.
A huge intro today was being taught about adding a tab onto the toolbar- a eureka moment for me...
contributing comments
I want to share I have, and I continue to learn a great deal through reading these daily submissions from our learning community. It reinforces what I thought I had heard earlier; sometimes it is re-framed, and at other times it is something I did hear but had forgotten about and thus had not gone back to think about. I need the repetition for the learning to occur.
So for me this exercise by our community of learners has really enhanced my technology understanding and literacy- so I thank you one and all.
Day 5 - hints of knowledge building
Well today we have been told is summit day. Is this good -is this bad ..hmmmmmm. I think it is great considering we are all still here and curious-some smitten with small accomplishments , while the more Savy and techy folks have really advanced. -and their successes are encouraging for me. I know learning has really taken place with in me and this is important to me.
Day 4
Working my way through the maze seems to be working. Patience and repetion is now helping me as an adult learner , as are my fellow learners within our learning environment.
Today I have discovered a number of things :
The home page is becoming less intimidating as I wonder around it
learning technology is painful but soooooo useful
word familiarlity- slowly I sense some settling in
