As you can see from the comments, your presentation was well received. Your enthusiasm on the subject was portrayed through your cheery and energized voice. The knowledge on the subject portrayed the amount of effort and time you instilled into this tool/project you would use.  From your description the cookbook should be very functional for your program.

https://secure.logmein.com/home.asp?lang=en    Simply connect, what a great concept and something I will definitely take advantage of.  The explanation of rich or plain text helps me understands why some documents cannot be viewed or support. Although I did not get  Chance to add my part of the picture it was an great concept to illustrate inserting an image onto a webpage.

 Dave 's presentation was a good beginning for the day. HIs information was a way of showing how to bring one's work to one page.  Lots of sites for RSS, Paper Flakes, Yahoo pipes, To be honest it will take me abit longer to be able to adapt or use these sites as I am a  basic computer player. 

The presentations were well done. The material and facts provided sites which allowed me access and practice to create spreadsheets, wikis and host a video conference.  I can see me using the first two comfortably only because through the presentation Ihad the opportunity to do it quickly and easily. I would  take the first tool and incorporate Excel into a Toursim class that deals with statistics, facts and figures. The students can do the research and then plot it into the graph. 

Monday afternoon ready and anticipating another week of knowledge and practice. As most, I am comfortable in my surroundings and donot have as much fear as the first week. I know the presentations will bring a new dimension to the classroom. We will get to put in practice the tools we touched on last week, with perhaps a few new ones (smartboard).

The Ustream was a nice addition to the learning, and very informative concerning interaction and  another method of connecting to people and knowledge only live. Great illustration for the class. 

The last day of the 1st week, the 2nd day the light becomes brighter. 

Today has been much better. I realize Dave doesnt want the feelings part  in our blogs but hey I just felt like I finally made connections with the past educational days. Redefining what was what (tools, strategies,activities etc.) and trying to organize our book pages was a good activity and was something that had to be tackled.
