[kent] The setting up of names has bogged things down a bit. Perhaps if people were led through the process a little more it would have helped.
[bmacdonald] The learning curve is a little steep but I think the students would have this mastered very quickly
[ajcampbell] we were introduced last week and really good to have hands on with it today
[leslie] Clear instruction, practice and application

Q & A
Q - Can Twitter be linked to email and facebook or others ? A - Yes, this can be set up and directed to these, users also can use RSS.
Q - Do all students have access to computers? A - They can use the accessible computer labs at Holland College or access from a cell phone.
Q - Once a member, how do you get friends? A - Go to search friends and type in the addresses that were posted on the chat room or type in peoples email addresses.
Q - When you are working at your computer in other programs, will you know if someone sends you a message? A - Yes, if you make use of RSS, you will be able to view it.
Q - How do you plan on using this in the class? A - Many ways, one is to access past program graduates and have them as mentors.
Q - Will students abuse it or get off track for social talk? A - This is a concern, but the limited number of characters is one of the reasons for choosing it, to make sure students are to the point and stay on track.
Q - When you send a tweet is it specific to a group or does it go to all friends? A - You choose who it goes to.
Q - Are you putting everyones info. out there? A - No
Q - When you have a bunch of followers can they become annoying? A - No, most likely you won't even know about them. They are not messaging you, mostly reading your input. You do not have to accept them as a friend.
Q - Have you tried it on a cell phone? A - No
