Memoirs of Day 1, Ed366H
I was pleasantly surprised to learn that we probably will not be expected to learn a list of cookie cutter technological tools during this class. As someone who has contributed to "Top 10 Tech Tools" presentations, newletters, etc, I am familiar with and aware of many of the cool Web 2.0 widgits and add ons. This is usually great, but not always transferrable to my teaching and learning. I am glad to find that I can pick a topic that will be relevant to me and share it with others who may also appreciate the relevance.
In class today I very much appreciated the tagging exercise and the assigment of personal literacies. It is great to be able to recognize "the expert" in all of us. It will be nice to carry this information forward after the class and come back to colleagues for help down the road.
I am very interested in the concept of social networking and am happy to be working as part of this Ed366H community for the next two weeks.

Good Outlook

Hi,
I too feel positive about this class. It'll be fun to discuss how to incorporate all of this within our work/classrooms.
Have a great 2 weeks.
