First day in Ed366h
What a day! I am wondering what in the world I have signed up for. I am struggling with the material that was presented today and I am feeling overwhelmed in so many ways. Wondering how it is possible to fit so much information into the two week period.
However, I was excited to see everyone strengths and to recognize that we will be learning from one another. I believe everyone in the class will have a different spin and have different background, thus, encouraging my own growth to be positive and insightful. One person's weakness may be another person's strength. Learning from others around me will help me ensure that the material that I learn continues to evolve. Using the many learning dimension that can be seen among my classmates is never ending.
Today I have learned some of the supports that can be offered using Del.icio.us. I can see how this program will be able to help me in the future. I just hope I can develop the skills to an extent, that I have a comfort level for everyday applications. I am also enjoying the blogging application, and I can also see how this will increase my own learning on a variety of topics. To be able to reflect on what students offer is a powerful tool. I am hoping to develop a more in depth understanding on a variety of topics, by being able to understand and read the many reflections that will be presented.
Using new technologies in my teaching, will allow me to reach more students and helps me to develop more creative ways to ensure all types of learners are recognized. The skills that I will learn over the next two weeks will transfer into my own technological understandings and help me develop and broaden other peoples knowledge.
Understanding a wider range of technologies that are offered in the education field, will also help me develop more skills as a teacher, this allows me to touch on a greater array of information that is available.

Good Points!
Hi Kim,
I am glad we feel the same after the first day of class. I feel once we get a little deeper into the material it will all start to come together and become more clear on the direction. I as well look forward to using the skills I gain from this course in my teaching experiences with the students in my program.
This blogging part is new to me but i feel that it is so helpful and after reading some of the other reflections from yesterday I feel that we are all in the same boat and will definitely be able to help one and another throughout the course.

Side by side
I have come to realize that I learn just as much or more from other adult learners in the class as I do the designated facilitator. I know we'll all help each other do this.
